PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cigar lighter for an automobile, which copes with a plurality of types of cars by commonalizing components. SOLUTION: The cigar lighter is composed of a lighter plug 200 having an operation knob 202 on one end of a lighter body 201 having a cylindrical slide ring 205, and a heating element 207 as a heating element section on the other end, a lighter receiving section 100 having a holder section 101 holding the inserted lighter plug 200 in a slidable state with the slide ring 205, and bimetal 110 as a heat-sensitive operation member, distributing electric power to the heating element 207, and holding or releasing according to the temperature of the heating element 207, and a ring member 300 disposed between the lighter receiving section 100 and an instrument panel 400 as a vehicle-side mounting section with the cylindrical shape, and including a plurality of positioning sections 310 supporting the lighter receiving section 100 by performing the positioning in the circumferential direction to the instrument panel 400.
