PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire configured so that a sensor block can be easily and properly attached to the luminaire and the detection range of a sensor can be surely set in a desired range without impairing the design property. SOLUTION: The luminaire includes a sensor attachment portion 20 attached to the lower side of a luminaire body and a sensor block 30. The sensor attachment portion 20 includes a protruding portion 23 which protrudes downward from a lower side surface thereof, and a remote control receiving unit 21 for receiving operation signal from a remote control transmitter is installed on the protruding portion. The sensor block 30 has a retention hole 37 opened at the upper side, the retention hole having an inside diameter substantially equal to the size of the projecting portion 23. When the sensor block 30 is attached to the sensor attachment portion 20, the projecting portion 23 is inserted to the retention hole 37, whereby the attachment direction of the sensor block 30 is determined by the projecting portion 23 and the retention hole 37 while regulating the back and forth movement of the sensor block 30.
