<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of continuously displaying contents displayed in at least two display areas while suppressing the increase of power consumption and the decline of visibility due to display in the case that surrounding brightness changes, in the portable terminal provided with at least two display areas. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of a first state where brightness measured by an optical sensor is lower than a first threshold, the portable terminal executes control so as to display images in the respective display areas by a first luminance. In the case of a second state where the brightness measured by the optical sensor is equal to or higher than the first threshold, the portable terminal executes control so as to display a third image reflecting the contents of the first and second images respectively displayed in the respective display areas in the first state in the first display area by a second luminance higher than the first luminance, and also controls the luminance of the second display area to a third luminance lower than the first luminance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
