The machine has a permanent magnet rotor, and a stator with progressive electrical windings (1-9), which comprise cyclic winding elements connected in series. The winding elements include nodal points between each other. An electronic commutator has controllable switch elements that are arranged between the nodal points and operating current rails in a bipolar manner. Control inputs of the commutator are connected with outputs of a shift register, and are sequentially controlled by the outputs of the shift register. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing an electrical winding (2) a device for manufacturing an electrical winding.
