The socket has a housing (10) comprising a housing base (12), and an opening (14) formed in the housing base. A housing lug (16) is provided in the opening, and a connection component (22) is inserted into the housing lug. The connection component is fixed to the housing lug in a rotation-proof manner by using a stop element (30). The stop element is engaged into a retainer (34) that is provided at an outer surface of the connection component. A fastening element (24) is guided in the retainer, where contour of the stop element is adapted to contour of the retainer.
