FIELD: power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: in one version a circular structure is made with the possibility of assembly into a packet with similar structures to form a packet structure, which fully surrounds the inner retention limit. In the other version the circular structure has gaps of certain geometry to receive material that absorbs neutrons. According to one aspect, the circular structure is an intermediate device installed within the retention limit to hold a bucket with fuel and/or to improve heat removal via a retention limit. According to another aspect, the invention relates to a fuel bucket comprising one or more traps of neutron flux, which controls neutron radiation, and plates made of composite material on the basis of metal matrix. ^ EFFECT: increased radiation protection during transportation or storage of nuclear fuel, safe cooling of radiated nuclear fuel. |
