PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood which can prevent water ingress from an opening formed in an opening forming region of the main body of the hood even if a waterproof tape cannot be stuck on a sewing part of a plush in the hood, and to provide a garment with the hood. SOLUTION: In the hood and the garment with the hood, a porous cloth, which constitutes a region for sound absorption equivalent to user's ear when user wears the hood on user's head is sewed on the main body of the hood, and a part region in an end of a plush cloth covering the porous cloth is sewed on the main body of the hood through a sewing part. In the main body of the hood and the plush cloth, front surfaces are subjected to treatment to keep out water, and in the back surfaces, knitting or weaving cloth is processed. A guiding member for guiding water to the lower part from the upper part is provided along the end of the porous cloth so that the water which has permeated from the sewing part avoid a hole formed in the porous cloth.
