PURPOSE: An earthquake-proof house is provided to secure enough resistance to an earthquake by constructing a house on the ground using steel pipe piles inserted deep in the ground as supporting shafts. CONSTITUTION: An earthquake-proof house comprises a base slab(20), an inter-layer slab(30), and a roof slab which are formed on the ground using a plurality of steel pipe piles inserted in the ground as supporting shafts. The steel pipe piles are formed with two or more ribs fixed in the radial direction on the exterior and a donut shaped extension plate under the ribs. A rubber or silicon shock-absorbing pad is interposed between the steel pipe piles and the base slab.
