<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system capable of performing the efficient data processing of an XPS file. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming system, an image processor 12 includes: an XPS data generation part 20 generating XPS-format data of a Zip configuration; a first data calculation part 35 calculating a compression data size of the XPS-format data; a second data calculation part 30 calculating a data size after extension; and a header creation part 25 creating header information including the compression data size and the data size after the extension. An image forming device 50 includes: a header analysis part 60 receiving the header information of the XPS-format data transmitted by the image processor, and acquiring the data size after the extension and the compression data size of the XPS data; a first decision part 65 determining a storage destination of the XPS-format data based on the compression data size; and a second decision part 70 determining an extension destination of the XPS-format data based on the data size after the extension. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
