<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change over a mode of an application without moving a pointing device, and to improve operability when changing over the mode. <P>SOLUTION: An input device 100 uses the pointing device including a double-knock type knock part wherein a first knock is generated when a tip part is pushed into a shaft cylinder and wherein a second knock is generated when the tip part is pulled out from the shaft cylinder after the generation of the first knock. In the input device 100 including a sensor which can detect a load in a contact position with the pointing device, a detection part 106 detects the first knock or the second knock, and a changeover part 108 changes over a first mode to a second mode when detecting the first knock in the first mode, and changes over the second mode to the first mode when detecting the second knock after detecting the first knock, in the application having the first mode and the second mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
