摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus simply and accurately measuring the quantity and particle size of the fine particles in a fluid at a low cost by solving problems such as the measuring error caused by air bubbles in a scattering method or a shading method, the count loss caused by a different kind of elements, the measuring impossibility caused by emulsification, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This device for detecting the fine particles in the fluid is equipped with: a flow cell 10 allowing the fluid to flow; an X-ray source 20 for irradiating the flow cell 10 with X rays from the side surface thereof; an X-ray detector 30 for detecting the quantity of transmitted X rays wherein the X rays emitted from the X-ray source 20 are weakened by the fine particles in the fluid; a fluorescent X-ray detector 40 for detecting the fluorescent X rays discharged from the fine particles in the fluid by the X rays emitted from the X-ray source; and an operational processor for discriminating the fine particles and air bubbles in the fluid on the basis of the variation quantity from the respective reference quantities of transmitted X rays and fluorescent X rays to calculate the amount and particle size of the fine particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
