<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation type electromagnetic power generator that has high power-generation efficiency by adjusting the length of a magnet and the length in the winding-axis direction of a solenoid coil. <P>SOLUTION: The oscillation type electromagnetic power generator 1 includes a first hollow pipe 2 formed of a non-magnetic material and whose both ends are closed, a power-generating coil 9 wound around the first pipe 2 and provided with solenoid coils 4a-4c, and a movable magnet 3 arranged inside the first pipe 2 and movable along the winding-axis direction of the power-generating coil 9. The movable magnet 3 includes a plurality of magnets and a magnet fixing part made of a non-magnetic body and fixing the plurality of magnets in which the same poles face each other.
