<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace and inspect a fan motor without removing an inverter from a mounting member. <P>SOLUTION: The inverter device 10 has an inverter 20 which is equipped with a flange at its end face, a heat sink 30 which is coupled with the inverter, an inverter mounting means where a first opening is made, and a fan motor for cooling the heat sink. The fan motor extends adjacent to the heat sink, being inserted from one side of the mounting means into a first opening made in the inverter mounting means and a second opening made in the flange. Furthermore, the inverter device has a fixing means for fixing the fan motor to the flange of the inverter.
