PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor exhibiting high efficiency of partial print processing, without having to impress a load on a network, when a specific region of image data of large data size, obtained by means of a digital camera or a scanner, is printed, and to provide its control method and a storage medium. SOLUTION: A print data generator receives only the trimming information specified by an image data reader/generator, or transfers only the actual image data in a corrected trimming region, as the actual image data.
