METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF COMPLICATED DIABETIC FOOT

A method for the surgical treatment of the complicated diabetic foot comprises the amputation of the fingers at the level of metatarsophalangeal articulation and the dissection of the tendons. At the first stage, the necrotized tissues are resected and the medicamentous treatment is provided. At the second stage after the termination of the inflammatory process, the stump of the foot is generated by dissecting the heads of the metatarsuses through their spongious parts. The edges of the wound are fixed with the aid of the sterile adhesive tapes.
