PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism which attains highly accurate measurement near the bottom surface of a tank. SOLUTION: Concerning a shielding mechanism for liquid level radar measurement, the shielding mechanism 1 is positioned under a steel pipe on the bottom surface 10 of a container, and includes an electromagnetic wave shield 2 and a bottom surface part 3. The electromagnetic wave shield 2 through which liquid can be exchanged, forms a wall of the shielding mechanism 1, and the bottom surface part 3 has a grid pattern plate and an attenuation material layer. The grid pattern plate is arranged on an upper part of the bottom surface part, and the attenuation material layer has at least two zones positioned on places having each different interval from the grid pattern.
