PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer display device capable of easily achieving desired printing, even if an image to be reflected in printing may be displayed over two or more display screens. SOLUTION: The multilayer display device includes a plurality of display screens and an image display portion. The plurality of display screens are mutually arranged in a layer fashion. The image display portion uses each piece of image information corresponding to each of the plurality of display screens to display an image on each of the plurality of display screens. An image formed by combining these displayed images is displayed towards the front side of the layer direction. In addition, the multilayer display device includes a screen setting portion and an image synthesis portion. The screen setting portion lets a user select one or more of the plurality of display screens, and establishes the selected display screens as selection screens. When two or more of the plurality of display screens are established as the selection screens, the image synthesis portion synthesizes the image information corresponding to each of the selection screens to generate synthesis image information for one screen.
