<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing reflector in which size change is small even when used under high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The polarizing reflector is formed by alternately laminating, by 50 layers or more, a layer (A layer) consisting of a crystalline thermoplastic resin and a layer (B layer) consisting of an amorphous thermoplastic resin having optical properties different from that of the resin constituting the A layer. The polarizing reflector has crystallization enthalpy (ΔHc) of 1 J/g or less by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and satisfies the following formulae: (1) Rmin≤40%; and (2) Rmax≥70%; wherein Rmin denotes a minimum value (Rmin) of reflectance (%) and Rmax denotes a maximum value (Rmax) of the reflectance (%), when a surface of the polarizing reflector is irradiated with polarized light of 550 nm in wavelength at incident angle 0° to half-rotate the polarizing reflector around an incident light axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
