PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically switch SU-MIMO and MU-MIMO while avoiding an increase in a load required for blind detection in a user equipment device (UE) even when system bandwidth is expanded.

SOLUTION: A base station apparatus includes: a DCI format selection unit 209 for selecting identification information for identifying a DCI format for SU-MIMO and a DCI format for MU-MIMO; a control signal generation unit 210 for generating a control signal which includes the identification information and includes the DCI format for SU-MIMO or MU-MIMO having the same number of bits; and a transmitter for transmitting the control signal to a mobile station device.
