Ortho-heterocyclyl formanilide compounds represented by formula (I) or (II), their synthesis methods and use are disclosed. In the formulas, X1, X2, Z, R1 or R2 is defined as in description. The ortho-heterocyclyl formanilide compounds have good effect for the prevention and cure of harmful insects and can be used for preparing pesticides in the field of agriculture or gardening.
