PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display apparatus is provided to improve display quality and reduce driving voltage of a blue phase liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display apparatus comprises a liquid crystal display panel including a blue phase liquid crystal(150) which selectively reflects light in the range of 400nm to 700nm wavelength and a phase difference plate which is place one of the upper part or the lower part of the blue phase liquid crystal. The liquid crystal display apparatus comprises an array substrate in which pixel regions are arranged and a board which faces the array substrate.
