BLUE COLORED COMPOSITION FOR COLOR FILTER AND COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable blue colored composition for color filters excellent in color characteristics and heat, light and solvent resistances and generating no foreign substance in a coating film; and to provide a color filter using the same, having good color characteristics and excellent in heat, light and solvent resistances.

SOLUTION: The blue colored composition for color filters comprises at least a colorant and a resin, wherein the colorant contains a blue pigment and a salt forming compound (A) comprising a xanthene-based acid dye and a quaternary ammonium salt compound.
