The strand has a drive unit (12) i.e. combustion engine, an electric machine (40), and a dual clutch transmission (14) comprising friction clutches (20, 30) and partial gear boxes (22, 32), which comprise odd and straight gears, respectively. The electric machine (40) is assigned to one of the partial gear boxes, and a third friction clutch (36) is arranged between the two friction clutches and the drive unit. The electric machine is firmly connected with an input of one of the partial gear boxes. An independent claim is also included for a method for actuating a hybrid drive strand.
