<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve improvement of cycle characteristics and reliability in high-temperature operation of a 5V class secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery is produced with the use of a positive electrode active material containing oxide shown in following formula (1), and oxide of one or more kinds shown in following formula (2). (1) LiM<SP>1</SP><SB>a</SB>M<SP>2</SP><SB>2-a</SB>O<SB>4</SB>, wherein M<SP>1</SP>is one or two kinds of transition metal selected from a group consisting of Ni, Cr, Fe, Co, and Cu; M<SP>2</SP>denotes one or more elements with Mn as essential; Mn may be partially substituted with Ti or Si; and 0.4<a<1.1. (2) M<SP>3</SP><SB>b</SB>M<SP>2</SP><SB>c</SB>O, wherein M<SP>2</SP>denotes one or more elements with Mn as essential; Mn may be partially substituted with Ti or Si; M<SP>3</SP>is one or more elements with one or more elements selected from a group consisting of Bi, La, Nd, Sm and Ta as essential; M<SP>3</SP>does not contain Li; and b>0, c≥0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
