PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of preserving image data and outputting the preserved image data without using an internal storage device or an exclusive external storage device. SOLUTION: A complex machine 10 registers a virtual BOX corresponding to a mail box in a mail server in a BOX management table 30 for registering information to manage a BOX, and registers sending information or receiving information required for sending or receiving e-mail corresponding to the mail box (mail account) in association with the virtual BOX. When an external saving instruction of the image data is received, image-attached mail in which image data are attached to the e-mail is sent to the mail server by using the sending information so as to externally preserve the image data. When an output instruction of the externally preserved image data is received, the image-attached mail is received from the mail server by using the receiving information so as to output the image data.
