PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway security system capable of determining an abnormal condition of the system via a third person besides by a cable between interlocking devices. SOLUTION: A signal mechanism in the railway security system includes: interlocking devices that control a signal equipment of a railway system; electronic terminals that control the input and output of the signal equipment in accordance with a command from the interlocking devices; controllers that transmit information required for the electronic terminals to control the input and output in accordance with state information of the signal equipment from the interlocking devices; a communication controller that connects the interlocking devices to the controllers; and a monitoring terminal device that maintains the interlocking devices and the controllers. When abnormal conditions of the interlocking devices included in the signal mechanism are determined, the signal mechanism can detect an abnormal condition of the system by receiving a telegraph receiving state transmitted from the interlocking devices from the controllers.
