The device (1) has a shear removal device (12) for row-wise inserting bottle caps into a continuation trough (8) from respective upwardly open transport troughs at a transfer point. The bottle caps are arranged next to each other in a transport position (7a) and movable into the transfer point. The bottle caps are removable from the transport position for supplying to subsequent treatment. The bottle caps are mounted in the transport position on a head region in the transport troughs. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a blister packaging for a bottle cap (2) a method for supplying a bottle caps on a bottle.
