<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable connector capable of welding with small current and reducing power consumption at the time of welding and attaining stable welding quality, with regard to resistance welding between a plurality of terminals and a plurality of flat cable conductors in the flat cable connector. <P>SOLUTION: In the flat cable connector, a body housing 11 supports a plurality of terminals 13, and an end of a flat cable 100 with a conductor-exposed section 105 is disposed in the body housing. A cover housing 12 is mounted on the body housing 11, and holds the plurality of terminals 13 and a plurality of conductors 103 so as to be sandwiched between the body housing and the cover housing. The terminals 13 are provided with a projected section 13a formed so as to make a part of the terminals stick out, and the plurality of terminals 13 and the plurality of conductors 103 in the conductor-exposed section 105 are respectively welded together with resistance welding while the terminals and the conductors come in contact with each other via the projected section 13a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
