PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically-traveling X-ray apparatus for visiting patients, which moves by releasing a brake for operating the apparatus disabled by a trouble of a main power supply. SOLUTION: A battery (primary battery 14) is provided separately from a main battery 1 as a power source exclusively for emergency brake release to prepare switching means ( emergency brake release switch 13) for distributing power from this battery to an electric brake 12 in case of emergency. In this way, even in the condition that something goes wrong with main power supply and the power source is not supplied, braking is deactivated and apparatus can be moved manually.
