PURPOSE: A black box for vehicles capable of confirming mistake of a driver in the event of sudden acceleration accident is provided to photograph a pedal controlling operation of a driver using a monitoring camera and use a LED(Light Emitting Diode) lamp as a mood lamp if necessary. CONSTITUTION: A black box for vehicles capable of confirming mistake of a driver in the event of sudden acceleration accident includes a directional camera(110), a pedal control photographing camera(120), a first communications interface(130), an impact sensor(140), an image processor(150), a memory, and a controller. The directional camera is installed to face the front, rear or side of a vehicle. The directional camera takes a photograph of one or more of the front, back and side. The pedal control photographing camera takes a photograph of brake pedal and accelerator pedal manipulation of a driver. The pedal control photographing camera uses wire/wireless communication. The first communications interface receives an analog image signal transmitted from the pedal control photographing camera. The first communications interface transfers the signal to the image processor through the wire/wireless communication. The impact sensor senses the impact of the vehicle. The image processor converts the analog image signal into digital video data. The memory stores the digital video data. The controller repeats temporary storage/deletion of the digital video data in/from the memory.
