<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EL device capable of suppressing color shift of emission color due to change in the viewing direction. <P>SOLUTION: The EL device has a plurality of light output parts provided with light emitting layers and resonator structures for resonating light emitted from the light emitting layers. The light output parts include a first light output part having a light emitting layer emitting light of a first color, a second light output part having a light emitting layer emitting light of a color different from the first color, a third light output part having a light emitting layer emitting light of a color different from the first and second colors. As for the first to third light output parts, a resonance peak wavelength indicating the peak value of a transmission spectrum of the light transmitted through the resonator structure in the direction perpendicular to a main surface of the light emitting layer is at the short wavelength side than an emission peak wavelength indicating the peak value of the emission spectrum of the light emitted from the light emitting layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
