PURPOSE: A safe driving device and safe driving method for a streetlight are provided to secure safety on a mountain road or bridge by mounting an LED lamp. CONSTITUTION: A wind meter(110) measures wind velocity around a streetlight(10). An LED lamp(120) is installed in the streetlight. A local area communication transceiver(130) senses the movement of a vehicle and changes the color of the LED lamp according to the measurement value of the wind meter to make a driver identify the color of the LED lamp.
