Disclosed is a valve lid for sealingly closing a container body and for the delivery of fluid to viscous products. The valve lid includes a round opening in which a delivery valve (10), which has a cylindrical valve body (12) as a valve portion and a shaped portion (11) in sleeve form, is fixedly and sealingly inserted solely by means of the shaped portion. The round opening is defined by an axially outwardly or upwardly projecting collar (9a). The shaped portion is elastic in respect of shape with the valve portion and is movable with elastic deformation of the shaped portion. A flat panel portion (3) radially outwardly adjoins the collar; the portion near its outer edge has a damping bead (8b) which in turn is radially outwardly adjoined by a folded edge configuration (6a) with which the valve lid can be connected to a flange edge of the container body (1). The axial extension at the edge of the valve lid, comprising the dampening bead and the folded edge configuration, is smaller than the radial, flat extension of the flat panel portion.
