<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater that reduces loss of heat release from a connection pipe as well as material cost of the connection pipe and man-hour of on-site pipework, while saving a space in an installation space of the heat pump water heater. <P>SOLUTION: A pipe space 31 of a condominium is arranged with a water supply piping, a drain piping, a meter, and the like. The pipe space includes an air intake opening 32 below, an air outlet opening 33 above, and a door 30. The heat pump water heater is installed in the pipe space 31 so that air flow is supplied into the pipe space 31 from the outside of the pipe space 31 through the intake opening 32 and then passes through an air heat exchanger 4, thereafter being exhausted from the outlet opening 33 to the outside of the pipe space 31 again. The heat pump water heater connects with a heat pump unit 1 having the air heat exchanger 4 on a top surface of a hot water-storage tank unit 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
