PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shielding plate capable of suppressing rapid leakage to a lower part of an indoor unit when a combustible refrigerant having specific gravity higher than that of air leaks from an indoor unit in stopping an operation, and preventing excessive increase of concentration of the refrigerant, in particular, near a floor surface, at the lower part of the indoor unit and to provide an air conditioning system including the same. SOLUTION: This shielding plate 5 is composed of a plate roughly having the same shape and size as a projection face observed from the above, of the indoor unit 1 of the air conditioner using the combustible refrigerant having the specific gravity higher than that of the air. The plate has a plurality of holes penetrating through upper and lower faces. Further the shielding plate 5 is disposed at the lower part of the indoor unit 1 to temporarily receive the refrigerant leaking and falling down from the indoor unit 1, and diffuse the leaked refrigerant on a receiving face so that the refrigerant falls down through the holes.
