PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a button battery housing structure capable of simultaneously attaining battery exchange performance, improvement in contact reliability between a contact and a button battery 2 and electrical connection reliability with a circuit board 13 and a small spacing of a button battery housing space in an electric device. SOLUTION: The button battery housing structure includes an opening part 5 for battery insertion formed in a body 1, a battery lid 6 which opens and closes the opening part 5, a battery housing part 12 for button battery 2 formed at the deep side of the opening part 5 of the body 1, both contacts 15, 16 of +, - installed in the battery housing part 12, and a circuit board 13 installed on the deep side of the battery housing part 12 of the body 1. One of contact 15 out of both contacts 15, 16 of +, - is installed at the rear face of the battery lid 6, and even if one of the contact 15 of both contacts 15, 16 of +, - is installed on the opening part 5 side of the battery housing part 12, this one contact 15 and the battery lid 6 are interlocked to open and close the opening part 5.
