The contact has clamping elements (15, 16) forming an electrical contact for clamped elements (22, 23), where the material of the clamping elements exhibit less expansion coefficient than the expansion coefficient of the material of the clamped elements. The materials of the clamping and clamped elements exhibit elastic properties at temperature more than 170 degree C. The clamping elements are formed as or comprise clamping springs (17, 18), and the clamped elements are formed as electrical lines or ends (24, 25) of the electrical lines. An independent claim is also included for a high-temperature sensor comprising an electrical cable.
