The present invention relates to a photobioreactor for a large-scale marine microalgal culture. The present invention provides a photobioreactor for a large-scale marine microalgal culture using a half-transmitting film, which floats on a sea to culture isolated marine microalgae on a large-scale, wherein said photobioreactor comprises: a culturing bag which is made of a half-transmitting film for enabling seawater to exit but preventing the penetration of marine microalgae, and which is three-dimensionally formed to provide a culturing space for accommodating marine microalgae; and floating means connected to the culturing bag to dispose the culturing bag near sea level so that the culturing bag can be exposed to sunlight. The photobioreactor of the present invention can be manufactured at a low cost, and is free from spatial restrictions, thus enabling the expansion of the photobioreactor in both the horizontal and vertical directions. Furthermore, the present invention eliminates the necessity of producing, supplying, and replacing culture media, which significantly reduces the manpower and costs of managing and operating the photobioreactor, and enables easy and economically advantageous large-scale microalgal culture. Further, the present invention enables the mass production of useful products including bioenergy, while treating organic waste substances and removing carbon dioxide.
|
