<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism wherein a user can achieve both quick and rough setting of a time range and accurate specification of a single frame by intuitive operation. <P>SOLUTION: An animation editing device displays on its display part a time range control part for specifying an IN point and an OUT point of editing start for specifying a time range of animation data to be edited.
