PURPOSE: An operating system independent network event handling is provided to handle a network event independently of an operating system, wherein the network event is received by a computing device during sleep state. CONSTITUTION: A computing device is initialized for the free booting time by a firmware environment. For the free booting time, a firmware reserves a part of memory or mailbox in which the firmware can collect data(112). Once the free booting initialization is completed, a control is transmitted to the operating system of the computing device and the booting process is advanced(113). The OS executes or operates the computing device through a function of including more higher power consumption status or in a wake mode(115). |
