A phase change material-containing blanket comprises a flexible containment structure, such as made using fiberglass fabric, with multiple discrete containment pockets and a cementitious mixture comprising phase change material that is contained within some or all, and preferably all, of the containment pockets. Cementitious mixture in the form of a composite includes a magnesia cement binder, phase change material-containing particles and a sorbent for water or aqueous liquid.
