摘要 The disclosed hybrid vehicle that drives by means of power from at least one of an internal combustion engine and an electric motor is provided with: a control unit that controls the internal combustion engine; a disconnection control unit that engages a clutch that disconnects a power transmission pathway from the internal combustion engine to a drive wheel with a generator therebetween, when shifting from series drive to driving with at least the internal combustion engine as the drive source; a request output calculation unit that calculates a request output on the basis of the AP opening angle and the vehicle speed; and a engagement rotational velocity calculation unit that calculates the rotational velocity corresponding to the vehicle speed on the drive wheel side of the clutch as the rotational velocity of the internal combustion engine that engages the clutch. The disconnection control unit engages the clutch when the rotational velocity of the internal combustion engine matches an engagement rotational velocity as a result of the internal combustion engine being controlled in a manner so as to track a request output when in series drive of at least a predetermined velocity. Consequently, the clutch can be engaged without the occurrence of a shock or a decrease in efficiency when shifting from series drive wherein the electric motor is the drive source to driving with at least the internal combustion engine as the drive source.
