<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidification apparatus which can keep high dehumidifying performance for a long period of time and can perform dehumidification continuously. <P>SOLUTION: The dehumidification apparatus 1 includes: a dehumidifying rotor 2 having a moisture absorbent 22 bonded, by a binder 23, to the surface of a planar base material 11 having a pair of open surfaces opposed to each other; a rotary drive 4 for rotating the dehumidifying rotor 2 around a rotary shaft 3; a first air flow path 5 and a dehumidification fan 6 which are used for supplying dehumidifying air to the dehumidifying rotor 2; a second air flow path 7 and a regeneration fan 8 which are used for supplying regeneration air; a heating unit 9 for heating the regeneration air; and a control part for controlling the rotary drive 4, the dehumidification fan 6, the regeneration fan 8 and the heating unit 9. Mesoporous silica is used as the moisture absorbent 22 and a PTC heater is used as the heating unit 9 so that the temperature of the open surface 10b of the dehumidifying rotor 2 can be easily controlled to be ≥70°C and <250°C and the dehumidification apparatus can keep high dehumidification performance for a long period of time and can perform dehumidification continuously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
