<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform processing in response to a printing request received over a network while managing a processing state for each document unit included in the printing request. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus 100 includes: a receiving means 104 for receiving print data P described in a printer language over a network N and storing the data P in a storage device 116; an output control means 112 for sequentially reading print data from the storage device, analyzing the print data according to the printer language and commanding output processing to the print data P to an image forming means 114; an analysis means 124 for analyzing a document information portion of the print data P according to the printer language prior to the completion of the analysis of the print data by the output control means 112, and producing management information for managing a processing state for each document unit included in the print data P; and a providing means 126 for providing the processing state for each document unit to a user interface means while referring to the management information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
