摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method of manufacturing a piezoelectric ceramic, the method manufacturing the piezoelectric ceramic having an improved piezoelectric characteristic by forming a sintered compact being homogeneous and high density; a piezoelectric element; a liquid injection head; and a liquid injection device. <P>SOLUTION: There is provide a method of manufacturing a piezoelectric ceramic includes: a step of producing a mixture by dry-blending a nanoparticle powder, comprising a barium titanate that a volume cumulative particle size D<SB>50</SB>is &ge;50 nm and &le;800 nm measured by a particle size distribution measurement of laser diffraction scattering type, with an organic binder solution of which a polymerization degree is &ge;1,500; a step of adding and blending the mixture with a polar organic solvent of &ge;40 mass% and &le;100 mass% to the nanoparticle powder and of volatilizing the polar organic solvent; a step of molding the mixture that volatilizing the polar organic solvent; and a step of forming a sintered compact by baking the molded mixture.
