PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize the structure of a medium storage container which can be pulled out in a plurality of directions. SOLUTION: A medium storage device (U2) includes: a container body (51) which is movable in a plurality of attaching/detaching directions including a first attaching/detaching direction and a second attaching/detaching direction; a first holding member (71) which is attached to the container body (51) and held by a user when being moved in the first attaching/detaching direction; a second holding member (72) which is attached to the container body (51) and held by the user when being moved in the second attaching/detaching direction; a first guide member (81c) which is provided on the first holding member (71) and which guides a second guided portion (58) of the container body (51) when the container body (51) is moved in the second attaching/detaching direction; and a second guide member (81c) which is provided on the second holding member (72) and which guides a first guided portion (59) of the container body (51) when the container body (51) is moved in the first attaching/detaching direction.
