<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device for ensuring distance resolution by identification of reflected waves for each object even if any reflected wave from a plurality of contiguous objects is superimposed to be received, and for avoiding cost increase caused by transmitter pulse width reduction in order to ensure the distance resolution. <P>SOLUTION: In the radar device, an A/D converter 32a of its data generation processor 32 converts any response waveform sampled with time axis extended into digital data, and a signal analyzer 32b extracts rising edge and trailing edge of the response waveform. Then a waveform identifying section 32c identifies reflected wave per object from the pair of rising edge and trailing edge, a ranging section 32d computes distance from time difference between reflected wave and transmitter pulse. Thus the reflected wave per object can be identified to ensure distance resolution and also avoid a cost increase without reduction in transmitter pulse width for ensuring distance resolution even if any reflected wave from a plurality of contiguous objects is superimposed to be received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
