The breaker has an electronic trigger unit (2) e.g. micro controller, triggering interruption during exceeding current threshold. A current transformer (W1) is attached to a conductor. An analog integrator (11) is provided downstream to the transformer. Output voltages of the integrator are amplified and provided to the trigger unit. The output voltages are provided to an intermediately connected multiplexer (M). The multiplexer provides the voltages temporally successive to an input (E1) of a common analog amplifier (V). An output (A) of the amplifier is connected with the trigger unit.
