The invention in question relates to an alloy for making grounding electrodes which is composed mainly of: aluminium, manganese, copper, zinc, cadmium, titanium, lead and iron. This novel alloy can be used to manufacture vertical and horizontal electrodes of different dimensions, which are used for grounding electricity substations, transmission towers and electricity poles. The invention also provides a method for connecting said electrodes in the most efficient manner.
