Provided is a head-mounted display capable of switching an image unnecessary to a wearer. Specifically provided is a head-mounted display provided with: an image input unit (4) into which an image is inputted; an image display unit (3) which is mounted onto the head of a wearer and supported so as to be disposed in front of the eyes of the wearer, and displays the input image inputted into the image input unit (4); an image determination unit (9) which determines whether or not the input image is an image of an observation region in the body of the wearer; and a control unit (10) which causes the image display unit (3) to display the input image when the image determination unit (9) determines that the input image is the image of the observation region in the body of the wearer.
